The Gaggia Classic Pro improves on one of the best entry-level semi-automatic espresso machines available.
Texture milk for a velvety microfoam perfect for latte art with the new commercial steam wand. Brew expert espresso with the commercial-style 58 mm portafilter and the included commercial single and double shot baskets. Or, get the most out of pre-ground or ESE pods with the pressurized basket. The updated design offers a modern look, with improved pump mounts for quieter brewing.
COMMERCIAL STEAM WAND
The commercial style steam wand comes equipped with a two-hole tip to perfectly craft velvety microfoam for lattes, cappuccinos, and more. The microfoam created by the commercial steam wand is tight enough for high quality latte art.
MECHANICAL ROCKER SWITCHES
Made of the same durable material used on commercial products, the independent precision rocker switches offer a satisfying snap when flipping the controls.
BRUSHED STAINLESS STEEL BODY
The Classic Pro's body is constructed of one-piece 17-gauge brushed stainless steel, avoiding the plastic veneer or the thinner steel appliances prefer.
The 58 mm chrome-plated brass portafilter is the same used on commercial machines. It weighs in at 1 lbs., a full 13% heavier than competing 54 mm portafilters, and feels substantial in-hand.
Made in Italy
The Classic Pro is designed and manufactured in the outskirts of Tuscany, the heartland of espresso. Each and every Classic Pro is infused with the rich history of Italy, representing over 80 years of innovation dating back to Achille Gaggia's first pump driven espresso machine in 1938.
The Highest Standards
Professional standards prescribe a certain bar of quality be met to provide excellent results. In abiding by these standards, the Classic Pro includes a commercial group, industry-standard 58 mm portafilter, commercial baskets, and a solenoid valve to keep pucks dry for easy discarding. Many of these features can only be found in commercial machines.
The Gaggia Classic Pro uses a real boiler equipped with fully embedded 1425 W heating elements to heat water for brewing and to prevent leaking like the cheaper appliances.
Keep it Hot
The built-in stainless steel cup warmer is passively heated to 120°F by the boiler just below the surface. Put your favorite espresso cups on display and warm them to retain the heat of your shots.
No Grinder, No Problem
The included pressurized basket offers a beginner-friendly entry into espresso, equipping the Classic Pro to work with ground coffee and ESE Pods, effortlessly. Expect a thick crema to adorn each and every shot.
